Just like other large companies across various industries, we too face fake online ads or offers to participate in surveys for rewards or contests with prizes. We want to warn you of these dangers and provide advice on how to act in such situations.
Our company never sends emails offering contests or survey participation in exchange for material rewards. Additionally, we never request sensitive personal information via email.
If you receive a suspicious email that appears to be from us, we recommend the following steps:
Do not respond to the email: Do not reply to the email, and do not click on any links or attachments. It may be a phishing attack aimed at stealing your personal data or infecting your computer with malware. Ideally, mark the email as spam using your email account’s spam button.
Verify the information: If you have any doubts, contact us directly through official channels. We’ll be happy to confirm whether the communication is genuinely from us.
Report the scam: If you’ve received a fraudulent email, please inform our customer support. This helps us fight fraud more effectively.
Be cautious and remember that the best protection against scams is vigilance. If something seems too good to be true, it’s probably a scam.
We’ve recently noticed an increase in fraudulent emails pretending to be official messages from our company, ČEZ Distribuce, specifically from the email address info@cezdistribuce.cz. These emails aim to gain your trust and prompt you to take rash actions. In particular, they offer participation in consumer surveys for rewards or directly congratulate you on winning products from companies like Shein, Bauhaus, Teta Drogerie, DM Drogerie, Hornbach, and others.
